 Speed : Capable processing of many trillions of instructions in a second.

Storage: can store more than 20, 000 times the data and information of an average computer.

Mainframe

A mainframe is a large, expensive, powerful computer that can handle hundreds or thousands of connected users simultaneously ( multi-users)

Physical Size : Partial room of equipment

Storage : Capable of processing millions of instructions in a second.

Speed : can store termendous amounts of data, instructions and information; enterprises are able to bill millions of customers.

 






 Personal Computer   

Is a computer that can perform all its input, processing, output and storage activities by itself and is intended to be used by one person at a time.

Physical Size: Fits on a desk, lap

Speed : Various, depending on the memory and processors.

Storage : Various, depending on the size of a hard drive.

Mobile Computer

is a portable personal computer ( that can perform all of its input, processing, output, and storage activities by itself ) that you can carry from place to place.
 Physical Size : Fits on the lap, palm, and pocket.
Speed: Slower compared to a personal computer.
Storage: Smaller storage media compared to a personal computer.

 Is a computing device small enought to hold in your hand.

Is a special-purpose computer that functions as a component in a larger product and performs various functions depending on the product.
 Physical Size: Miniature
Speed: Slower compared to mobile computers and devices.
Storage: Limited or smaller storage media compared to mobile computers and devices.
